Back to the future – what next for 2025?

Join us for the next gathering of the 2025 Movement community where Ruth Hussey, former Chief Medical Officer for Wales will be back! Ruth will be taking us back to the future by sharing her reflections on the last 10 years of 2025's work and providing a wider view on our future challenges.

 

Ruth was the keynote speaker at our first ever 2025 event, and it's great to be welcoming her back to explore the future with us.

Over the last year, the 2025 Movement has been doing lots of work to gather thoughts and feedback on its future focus and priorities to shape a new proposition that is focused around the two priorities of home and purpose.

 

At this gathering, we'll be sharing more on the ideas that have been developed and crucially, explore how you can get involved in programmes of work as we head into the year 2025 so that we can do even more together to tackle avoidable health inequalities in North Wales.

You'll also hear from outgoing Chair, Clare Budden, CEO of ClwydAlyn, and new 2025 Movement Chair, Nina Ruddle, Head of Public Policy Engagement at Wrexham University, who will be discussing what's been achieved since the movement began, and where we hope to go next.

 

Alongside Ruth Hussey, North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner, Andy Dunbobbin will also be joining us to talk about his priorities going forward and how the 2025 Movement can help with these.

Details on more speakers will be coming soon, but the format of the gathering is very much about conversation, reflection and exploring how we can work together to take collective action, so please do come along with your own thoughts and challenges as they'll be lots of opportunity to share.
